I left school yesterday with a game plan to stop at BiLo, RiteAid, Harris Teeter, and Walgreens. My savings percentage wasn't as high as usual overall, but I did get some good deals and only purchased things we will use, so all in all the trip was a success.
Stop #1: BiLo
BiLo is a fairly small chain of grocery stores in the southeast, including NC, SC, and Georgia. They have excellent produce and meat from local farms as well as fab coupon deals each week, as well as gas discounts.

Once again, not my highest savings percentage, but it included produce and charcoal, an item I am learning to price. Also, I earned another 10 cents toward my FuelPerks rewards (for every purchase worth $50, you earn a ten cent per gallon discount on gas at participating gas stations). I have racked up a pretty hefty discount but haven't cashed it in yet.

Stop #4: Harris Teeter
Not gonna lie, I was a bit disappointed with the deals at HT this week. They were out of the dried fruit I wanted, so I got a raincheck (that would have made my total much better). However, there was a B1G1 deal on Gorton's Fisherman fishsticks, and boy do I love some fishsticks (healthy, I know). I'm going to look for the fruit at another HT today, maybe they will redeem themselves, haha.

We are planning to cloth diaper and use cloth wipes. That being said, I am going to decorate this container to store our cloth wipes in (future post) and give the wipes to a friend. We had a quick dinner of fish sticks and kidney beans last night, and the total expense for our meal was $2.41 - not bad!
I ran out to Lowes Foods Tuesday night before their deal on laundry detergent ended, so I figured I would include that in my Friday Finals for the week.

I am going to use All Free and Clear (the white bottles) on our daughter's clothing and other laundry once she arrives. It is much less expensive than Dreft and highly recommended by moms whose babies have sensitive skin. I've been stocking up whenever I can find it on a good deal. It usually runs $6 -8 per bottle, and I haven't paid more than $1.99 each!
